Tiger Woods Confirms No Additional Damage Done To ACL and Knee

Tiger Woods is coming off his shortest tournament appearance in his career at the TPC Sawgrass Players Championship. He shot a 42 on the front nine before withdrawing from the rest of the tournament.
He has been dealing with a knee and achillies injury since the Master's and hasn't played in a tournament since the early April event.
Here is how Woods described what happened with his leg on Thursday:
The knee acted up, and then the Achilles followed after that, and then the calf started cramping up. Everything started getting tight, so it's just a whole chain reaction.
Woods has confirmed that no further damage has been done and that he simply needs plenty of rest, cold water therapy and soft tissue treatment.

He said it's likely he will miss the Memorial Tournament that begins on June 2nd, but his eyes are on the US Open. The event is scheduled to begin on June 16th and Woods says he will take it on a "week-by-week" basis.
If he does sit out for the next month, he will only of had nine holes of tournament experience between the Master's and the US Open.
