Tiger Woods is coming off his shortest tournament appearance in his career at the TPC Sawgrass Players Championship. He shot a 42 on the front nine before withdrawing from the rest of the tournament.
He has been dealing with a knee and achillies injury since the Master's and hasn't played in a tournament since the early April event.
Here is how Woods described what happened with his leg on Thursday:
The knee acted up, and then the Achilles followed after that, and then the calf started cramping up. Everything started getting tight, so it's just a whole chain reaction.
Woods has confirmed that no further damage has been done and that he simply needs plenty of rest, cold water therapy and soft tissue treatment.
