The Cool morning air is disturbed by the sound of
wings as they flap across the water of the shallow lake. The once deep
lake is nothing but a memory with just enough water to sustain what life
is left feeding on it with eternal gratefulness for its existence.
Kaibab Lake once a pristine 30 acre +lake has been reduced to 15 acres
or less with a depth in some spots you could walk in from the drought
that is plaguing Northern Arizona.
